John Balestrieri produced computer models of Designframe’s Wave binder complete with a studio lighting setup so Designframe’s designers could quickly comp and view dozens of identity solutions for their client.

John set up a workflow system that allowed the designers to work exclusively with the 2D graphics tools they were familiar with, without the need to learn or interact with the complex 3D rendering software (Cinema 4D) that was used to produce the final renderings.

3D renderings of the binder comps were used for presentations and approval proofs with Designframe’s client and therefore had to be nearly identical in appearance to the final product.
